He Made it in!!
(Marysol writes) I just heard from De Wet, here's a quick update:
He walked up to the counter and decided on the silent approach.
Just say nothing and see what happens.
The man didn't greet him. He just said,
"What year did you move here?"
De Wet said, "1999, Sir"
He stamped his passport and waived him through. That's it!
That was God's EVERYDAY grace & favor witnessed in such a short almost comical exchange. Thanks everyone for praying!!!
