We just graduated our Titus Project School! After months of living in the townships of Cape Town, we are proud to see them finish their time of Bible teaching and know they are trained for a lifetime of teaching ministry. We’ve been telling you about how one of the biggest accomplishments of the last few months has been in building key relationships with pastors.
This last weekend, we went out and sat down with 3 of them, asking them to just talk from the perspective of a pastor. No prompted sound-bytes, no loaded questions, just turn on the camera and let them talk. We were shocked by how candid they were with the camera rolling! We had to condense the video but they each spoke for long time.
They tell us things like this all the time, but until now we had never been able to capture it on video. We thanked them for their time and the weight their words carry. We could tell you this all day and try to explain to you why this need is so big we give our lives up for it. But when it comes from them, its really powerful.
Hear their words and recognize they serve their people in the midst of huge need and often without a sense of proper training. They are humble giants we are honored to work alongside.
